You will receive a warm reception and have a memorable stay. The property is situated in 4 hectares of land overlooking the Valley d'Azergues and the pretty village of Claveisolles. Approximately 30kms from Macon and 50kms from Lyon. Birds and wildlife abound, and we have our own horses and dogs to enjoy the countryside with. Trout fishing can be found at the bottom of the property, which can be used subject to local permit.
Currently we offer: A family suite with 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 people - 1 double room and 1 room with twin beds and wash-hand basin. A single room with wash-hand basin. A large bathroom is next to the family suite comprising of shower unit / bath / toilet and wash-hand basin. Dining room and /or terrace for breakfast. Breakfast is continental , if English breakfast is required please ask in advance. English breakfast would be extra.

The property lies high in the mountains of Beaujolais and in one of the largest Douglas Fir Tree Forests outside of Canada.Wildlife abounds in the forest with good walking routes which are clearly marked. Cycling is also popular.Or you can visit one of the local goat farms where fresh cheese can be bought daily. And/or visit one of the numerous chateaux and vineyards nearby to savour the wines.Add a visit to Lyon,the second largest city in France, with its museums, galleries, cathedral, spectacular trompe d'oeils and activities, especially the concerts in summer. Take a boat cruise along the Rhone and Soane and enjoy the sites from the river's edge. With the famous wines and Lyonaise food you will find a veritable gastronomic experience, and an unspoilt countryside to view.
